As far as the IRS is concerned, I’ve only made money doing three things: painting houses, cleaning classrooms, and writing ads.
And after summers of washing paint out of my hair and trying to get the smell of Clorox off my hands, I can confidently say that writing ads is the best job I’ll ever have. And it pays better. Slightly.
